本场演出为电子音乐人王长存 (ayrtbh) 在厂牌Metasonar发行的新专辑《半身化石》的发行活动。作为中国电子音乐的先行者之一，王长存的音乐作品演变经历了一段创新与实验的旅程。自2001年起，他便开始尝试使用台式电脑创作音乐；更早之前，他用吉他和录音机创作，并利用网页作为“程序”（patch）进行编曲。近年来，他常用的创作方式是基于 Max for Live 的音乐生成系统，这种系统与传统的时间线编辑方式不同，允许演奏者通过自创的交互界面实时控制计算机生成旋律与节奏。《半身化石》正是王长存运用这一系统制作并录制的成果。

This performance is part of the release event for electronic musician Wang Changcun (ayrtbh)'s new album Bust Fossil, released under the independent label Metasonar. As one of the pioneers of electronic music in China, Wang Changcun’s musical evolution is a journey of innovation and experimentation. Since 2001, he has been exploring music creation using desktop computers, and even earlier, he composed with a guitar and tape recorder, using web pages as “programs” (patches) for composition. In recent years, his primary creative tool has been a music-generating system based on Max for Live. This system differs from traditional timeline-based editing, allowing performers to control computer-generated melodies and rhythms in real time through a custom interactive interface. Bust Fossil is the result of Wang’s work using this system for composition and recording.

本次活动中，王长存将使用他自制的Max for Live系统进行现场演出。除此之外，演出阵容还包括声音艺术家Q I U、笔记本电脑即兴演奏者VAVABOND、实验音乐创作者陈维，他们将和王长存一起呈现2小时的实验音乐演出。每位艺术家的演出时长约为半小时，演出期间不设休息。

For this event, Wang Changcun will perform live using his self-built Max for Live system. The lineup also features sound artist Q I U, laptop improviser VAVABOND, and experimental music creator Chen Wei, together presenting a 2-hour experimental music performance. Each artist's performance will last approximately 30 minutes, with no intermission during the event.

Wei Wei (aka VAVABOND)笔记本电脑即兴演奏者，噪音表演者。通过以非线性时间的方式处理无意义和碎片化的声音，她探索「时间与存在」的主题，特别是在各种环境背景下。除了个人项目，她还是迷幻噪音团体「VagusNerve」和自由即兴二重奏「Mind Fiber」的成员。Laptop improviser, noise player. By processing meaningless and fragmented sounds in a nonlinear-time approach, she explores the theme of “time and existence” especially in various environmental contexts. Besides solo project, she is also the member of the psychedelic noise group “VagusNerve” and free improvised duo “Mind Fiber”. 

陈维 (sic)艺术家/实验音乐创作者，曾共同创办2pi records及音乐节，最初从事声音与表演，而后不断拓展了其影像与装置的创作。陈维善于通过多媒介的复合叙事，再造情境于现场。近期使用模块合成器及电脑软件进行声音写作及表演。

Chen Wei

Artist/experimental music creator, co-founder of 2pi Records and a music festival. Initially working in sound and performance, he later expanded his practice to include visual art and installations. Chen Wei excels in recontextualizing situations in live settings through multimedia narratives. Recently, he has been exploring sound composition and performance using modular synthesizers and computer software.
